SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING

The skiing caters for all abilities with 100km of marked pistes and it has good off-piste terrain that even the hardened skier will find exhilarating. The runs are divided into 25% blues, 50% reds and 25% blacks. The resort has a snow record of excellence due to its high altitude with skiing up to 3,600 metres. The glaciers allow for skiing and snowboarding to take place all year round and Saas Fee is so highly regarded that it is a summer training ground for National and International snowboarding teams due to its reliable conditions.
The snowboarding park boasts a big half pipe, quarter pipes, table and a high jump which is in use all through the year.
There are three ski schools in the resort,Swiss Ski School, British run Optimum Snowsports and Eskimos all providing group or private lessons.
