Head for the summer skiing region and delight in 20km of pistes on the glaciers where you can practice your skiing or have fun with your board. Relax for lunch with breathtaking views from the world's highest revolving restaurant or walk over the majestic snow and glaciers and even round off your day with a visit to the world's largest ice pavilion.

With 350km of hiking trails to choose from, whether seeking strenuous hiking or a more gentle stroll, Saas Fee is an ideal location. Choose from educational trails, alpine flower walks, fairy tale trails and animal treasure hunts and be certain that every day will be different.

Children will relish feeding the marmots in their natural environment, spotting the ibexes and strolling close to the mountain cattle adorned with bells around their necks.

Experience high altitude climbs or visit the Mattmark dam, the largest earth dam in Europe. For the active you can climb, abseil, visit the adventure forest with its hanging bridges, ropes to swing on and a cable pulley. There are 70km of mountain bike trails and the 'Feeblitz'  bob-sleigh run is also open in the summer. Families can rent scooters and ride down through the beautiful countryside or have fun at the driving range and nine hole golf course in Saas Fee.

There are numerous ball sports to enjoy ranging from football, basketball through to tennis and badminton. Yodelling  competitions, wine tasting, markets, museums, a leisure centre and many cultural events are held in the area .If all of this is not enough for you there are many daily excursions ranging from visiting Europe's highest vineyard, Zermatt and even hot springs at Leukerbad to wile away your day.
